“Dave,

I would like to take this opportunity to express both my gratitude and
appreciation for the excellent service and dedication extended to both
my wife and I on our recent visit to Alliance Car Sales.

We appreciated the fact we were able to visit the lot and look at the
vehicle we were interested without being hassled by some high pressured
sales pitch. When we were ready to buy I began working with Nick, who
went above and beyond the call of duty to help us secure a loan and
find the perfect car for us.

We were unable to get financed through traditional means and we were ready
to give up and walk away from the idea of purchasing a vehicle. Once
all means were exhausted Nick called and gave me the name of a finance
company
(Riverside Finance) you guys work with that specialized in financing people in our particular situation.

Not only did Nick give me the name and number of a real person we could
directly speak to at Riverside Finance, but he also called
on our behalf and spoke to them regarding our current situation and came back to us with several options.

Unfortunately, Nick was not there to see the final results of his hard work, but
thanks to his efforts we were able to purchase a great car at a great
price and get financed at a monthly payment we could afford.

The final act that prompted me to write this letter was the customer
service provided, after all the finance paperwork was signed and we
were ready to take possession of the car we had n
o way of picking up the vehicle, that is until Dave Gustafson volunteered to bring the vehicle to my place of employment, thus helping close the loop on the best a very pleasant experience.

Alliance Car Sales Customer totals car; Makes Money in Settlement
(It’s not hype if it’s true right?)
In February of 08 an Alliance customer bought a Stratus. A month later she
was rear ended and didn’t fix the bumper completely. Three months
later she was hit again and this time her car was totaled out.
Fortunately she was not injured through all this and neither was her
pocketbook. Despite a deduction for the bumper our customer actually
made a couple hundred dollars even after driving the car for four
months. The amount would have been more like $700 if it weren’t for
the initial bumper issue.

A few times customers have purchased cars from us either after totalling their car and settling with the insurance company or have come back to us for help right after buying one from us and totalling it out in an accident. In a surprising number of cases the customer has actually settled, with an insurance company of all things, for more money than they paid for our car. We love it when that happens.

One customer asked for help getting his title faster from the state since he needed it to settle. Unfortunately we couldn’t speed up the state of MN but when we asked how he came out in the settlement he smiled coyly. Only a month after buying the Lumina from us he had settled on a price five hundred dollars more than he paid for the car plus he got to drive it for a month for free. What a deal!

We don’t recommend trying this yourself (we actually had someone offer to help us with this once but that’s a story for another day) but it’s nice to know that when people need some extra leeway the most, we were able to play a part in their recovery.

A few years ago Alliance Car Sales sold a Mitsubishi Lancer to the
General Manager of a now closed Mitsubishi dealership because he was
able to get the car at a better price from us than his own dealership.


In 2007 a dealer drove from IL to buy a Camry we had for sale for only
$400 less than our online asking price. Another dealer from the
eastern part of town to themselves a great deal on a Chevy Impala by
paying Alliance’s low asking price with no discount at all.

In 2008 a dealer came from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to buy a car from Alliance Car Sales.
Before he came we made him a custom video of the car and told him all
we knew about it. He took the train to Saint Paul and drove it back (OK,
started his drive) that same day. We both plan on doing business together again
in the future.
